Where AI starts for a Chinese-owned business in Australia
Your customers speak two languages, the channels split between WeChat and the phone, and the website dates from when the shop opened. We are a Melbourne team, working in Chinese and English, delivering systems you can accept.
Where it usually gets stuck
The same knot shows up again and again: Chinese-speaking customers ask on WeChat, local customers ring or fill in a form, and both sides expect an answer now. The owner knows the business best, so the owner ends up answering most of it.
The website was usually built when the business opened. The Chinese and English versions were updated separately and drifted apart. Google finds the business by name, not by "Melbourne" plus what you do, and AI assistants never mention it.
Hiring another receptionist does not fix this. It is a process problem: where the questions come in, who answers, what happens when the answer isn't there, and whether any of it gets recorded.
The three lines that apply
Each line states what you need, what we provide and what you receive. The images are finished work, not concepts.
-
This site's first screen; the relief wall, the ink line and the particles are built in-house 01
Digital product engineering
Front-end design and full-stack development
- You need
- A bilingual website with its own URL for each language, findable by Google and by AI answers, and editable by your own team.
- We provide
- Built from zero to launch: one language per URL, structured data, sitemap, visibility in search engines and AI answer engines, all written into the acceptance criteria. The site you are reading was built this way.
- You receive
- The live bilingual site, technical documentation and acceptance scripts, ready for your team to change.
-
grounded-chat: two sentences cited, the third, a planted fabrication, flagged unsupported 02
Agents and knowledge systems
RAG agents: customer service, after-sales and internal knowledge Q&A
- You need
- Customer questions on WeChat and on the web answered immediately, from your own material, with the ones it cannot answer handed to a person.
- We provide
- A bilingual question-answering agent built on your company material, deployable on the web, on WeChat and on the phone. Every answer carries its sources, unsupported sentences are flagged on the spot, and the handover boundary is written down in advance. The "Ask Kailoo" in the corner of this page runs the same technology.
- You receive
- An agent running on your material, an evaluation dataset and handover documentation.
-
Voice agent console: sample call, live transcript, intent detection, ticket write-back 03
Voice and digital humans
AI voice calls and AI digital-human livestreaming
- You need
- No missed calls. English-language calls are answered by the system first, routine questions handled immediately, and a person brought in by rule, with a record kept.
- We provide
- AI answering and outbound calling: answers drawn from company material, handover boundaries defined in advance, full call records, and the agent introduces itself as AI at the start.
- You receive
- A live voice agent with call records.
How it starts
Map the workflow
We look at how the work runs today and where the time and money go. Facts only, no proposal yet.
Pick one testable case
One scoped case, with the success criteria and the acceptance method agreed in writing before anyone builds.
First working version in two to four weeks
A version that runs, not a prototype demo. If it misses the criteria fixed in step two, we keep working until it meets them, within the same scope.
Hand it over so you can change it
You get the docs and the acceptance scripts, plus how to change it later. If you stop working with us, it keeps running.
Questions we get asked
- Where are you, and can we work in Chinese? The team is in Melbourne and works directly in Chinese and English. Hours are 09:00 to 22:00 Melbourne time (AEST), by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Half my customers speak Chinese and half speak English. How does the system handle that? The agent answers in the language the customer uses, from the same set of material. The website has a separate URL for each language, so search engines index each one on its own.
- Do we have to rebuild the current website? Not necessarily. The first step is a review of what is there: which content is still accurate, whether search can find it, whether your team can change it. The decision to revise or rebuild comes after that.
- How long does it take, and how is it priced?Once the case is scoped and the acceptance criteria are written, a first version usually takes two to four weeks. Pricing is per scoped case, not per hour; there is no price list on the site.
- Will we depend on you after delivery? No. Documentation, acceptance scripts and the path for later changes are handed over, so your team can iterate on its own. If you stop working with us, the system keeps running.
